1 ½ cups (375mL) whole wheat flour 1 tbsp. baking powder ½ tsp. ground nutmeg ½ tsp. ground cinnamon 1/3 cup brown sugar 1 egg ¾ cup milk ½ cup pumpkin puree ¼ cup melted butter ½ cup raisins or dried dates
Method
In a bowl, mix all dry ingredients.
In another bowl, beat the egg with all the liquid ingredients.
Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients and quickly stir all the ingredients together.
